Speaking on the Sinn Féin motion in the Dáil on Disabilities

People with Disabilities are still struggling to have a decent quality of life. Last night speaking in the Dáil I touched on just some of the challenges those with disabilities have to face each day. We need to give our citizens with disabilities the right to live independently and we want a society that values inclusion not exclusion.

Questioning the Minister for housing on safety issues raised with regard to the tower fire in Ballymun.

I questioned the Minister for Housing Eoghan Murphy with regard to the safety issues I identified in the wake of the devastating fire at the tower attached to the Metro Hotel. His response shows that there is still much work left to be done. It is vital that all safety issues are dealt as a matter of urgency.
